Baillieston Credit Union, which has been a mainstay of Baillieston Main Street in Glasgow for over 20 years contacted us back in May asking us to come out and do a site survey of their roof. They were worried that it had become damaged beyond repair.
After conducting the survey on the roof, we recommended a plan of action which included replacing the full roof and re-tiling it with a suitable choice of tile that would compliment the building and its surroundings.
Over time the existing roof tiles had become loose and a lot of them were damaged, this resulted to damage underneath the tiles to the roof structure. The customer was worried the situation would only get worse and wanted to rectify the problem as soon as possible.
Fort Roofing recommended a brand new roof to be installed and gave the customer a wide range of tiles to choose from. After the initial free site survey was completed, we submitted a no obligation quote, which was accepted. We then put our plan of action in place. This included getting a permit from Glasgow City Council for scaffolding to be erected around the building and set out over the course of 2 weeks to complete the job.
